There are many the evidences that confirm the change of educational paradigm
which we are living in these first years of the 21st century. The emergence of the
information and communication technologies as a teaching tool has meant a
revolution in the use of traditional methodologies and, therefore, a substantial change
in the way we teach and learn.
An exemplary sample, in this sense, is this project of digital newspaper that closes
with this publication its first school year of life. Throughout the development of this
journalism workshop, the students were able to work together, to improve their
knowledge and to expand their technological and writing skills, all in an environment
of responsibility, where each student assumed his task as an essential within a
common project.
From the privilege that grants me the invitation to present this third publication, I want
to thank the work of Maite Martos, a professor of Spanish language and literature, for
exercising masterfully the leadership of this journalism workshop. Of course, similarly,
I want to extend thanks to all the students who participated in the development of
these three copies of DigitALTimes, and encourage you to continue this service
during the following year. You know that you can count on my full support and
gratitude. Thank you very much, young journalists.
Son numerosas las evidencias que confirman el cambio de paradigma educativo que estamos
viviendo en estos primeros años del siglo XXI. La irrupción de las tecnologías de la información
y la comunicación como herramienta pedagógica ha supuesto una verdadera revolución en el
uso de las metodologías tradicionales y, por tanto, un sustancial cambio en la forma de enseñar
y aprender.
Una muestra ejemplar, en este sentido, es este proyecto de periódico digital que cierra con este
número su primer curso escolar de vida. A lo largo del desarrollo de este taller de periodismo,
los alumnos han podido trabajar en equipo, mejorar sus conocimientos y habilidades
tecnológicas y ampliar sus competencias de redacción, todo ello en un entorno de
responsabilidad, en el que cada alumno asumía su tarea como parte fundamental dentro de un
proyecto común.
Desde el privilegio que me otorga la invitación de poder presentar este tercer número, quiero
agradecer la labor de Maite Martos, profesora de Lengua Castellana y Literatura, por haber
ejercido con maestría el liderazgo de este taller de periodismo. Por supuesto, agradecer de
igual modo a todos los alumnos que habéis participado en la elaboración de estos tres
ejemplares de DigitALTimes, y animaros a continuar con esta labor durante el curso próximo.
Sabéis que contáis con mi total apoyo y gratitud. Muchas gracias, jóvenes periodistas.
